Sea of Love

Around a year ago we merged our things together at 1335. In 83 days, we merge our life and dreams!  Our most recent dreams involve living or at least vacationing on the East Coast.  We want to learn how to sail and boat.  Have our hypothetical child grow up spending time on the beach with appreciation for the vast world out at sea.  Perhaps I'm the one obsessed with that aspect since I've never spent time near the ocean.  Until we make that dream a reality we plan to just transform our bedroom into a nautical haven.  It seems to me that everyone is embracing the love of all things nautical this spring and I couldn't be more thrilled.  L.L. Bean has some amazing nautical pieces and last night we just couldn't resist.

While it wasn't too long ago that we purchased bedding, it was so dark and depressing.  We wanted our bedroom to be a sanctuary and a place that was bright and soothing.  In my opinion nothing is more soothing than quilts, water and sand.  Can't wait for it to arrive!

I'll leave you with a wise and beautiful quote from Khalil Gibran:

Love one another, but make not a bond of love:
Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls.

Warning! The Monster demands a Mate!

We love cinema.  We especially love fright cinema!  I discovered these mugs months ago but they quickly sold out.  When LennyMud got them back in stock I had to immediately purchase!  I'm slightly obsessed with anything labeled Mr. & Mrs.

"I really just want to be warm yellow light that pours over everyone I love."

Yellow is my favorite.

It goes with everything and it screams warmth!

We weren't planning to pick colors for the wedding but when we found Ryan's blue and yellow bow tie we found our colors.  But honestly, it is all about the yellow!

Top Row, Second Photo from the Left:  This is what my bouquet will be designed like.
Second Row, Last Photo on the Right:  This will be similar to our main centerpiece at the house
Last Row, Third Photo from the Left: Ryan, Adam and Dryden will be sporting similar boutonnières

I am obsessed with Craspedia aka Billy Buttons.  They have such amazing texture and dry out beautifully.  If you're going to spend an arm and a leg on flowers for a wedding (there really is no "if" about it) you might as well have flowers that will last along with all the memories!
